A central dimension of the Mission
ministry to the people of San
Lucas has been education. For over 30 years the Mission has operated a
school. The school emphasizes pre-school, primary, and secondary
education. Over 600 students attend the Colegio San Lucas. The school has
various resources available to the students, including a library whose
collection draws heavily from donations from the United States. The
school not only provides a solid educational foundation for the children
of San Lucas, but also gives them the skills, opportunities, and hopes
to build a better future.
