Bishop John C. Nienstedt
On Saturday, July 24th, the Mission had the pleasure of welcoming Bishop John C. Nienstedt to our community. Bishop Nienstedt was able to witness first-hand the work of the Mission, visiting the various projects and connecting with the local community. The culmination of his visit was a Sunday mass in celebration of his thirty years of ordination. Bishop Nienstedt´s visit strengthens the deep-seated links between Roman Catholics in Minnesota and here in San Lucas, creating a fuller sense of the global Church. It was truly an honor and a privilege to have him here sharing his time with us.
